What is a Guitar Pick ?

By this you probably thinking that guitar pick is something related to picture, but it's not ( this was what I thought when I first read it). A guitar pick is an instrument in the shape of like triangle but edges are smooth, used on the strings of guitar. A picture will help you understand this.

Different Guitar Picks With Different Material

There are lots and lots of guitar pick styles some are in circle shape others are in heart shape but the most famous shape is shown in above picture. Also the price range is different for different material used in guitar picks, like metal, wood, steel, plastic etc etc.

One of the most expensive guitar pick which I found is made from Meteors material, it was shaped by an Australlian company known as Starpics. The meteors material is very old almost 3.5 to 4 billion years old, and these were discovered in the year 1836, in the place of Namibia which is in Africa.

These are expensive which are priced at $ 4600, why so expensive ?

1. First, because they are ancient 4 billion year old ( old is gold ). 
2. Second, the design made by the nature on them with passage of time, the lines are very attractive on them.
3. Third, they don't break your guitar strings.
